Great News! We are members of the first ever WayraUK and University of Edinburgh AI & Blockchain Accelerator housed in the new Bayes Centre - running from now until April 2019.
We have learned already that this means two things:
- Business Opportunity - it is a great honour and opportunity to be selected and this is benefitting our business
- Quality - the quality of companies alongside us means you need to maintain the absolute highest quality levels
Business Opportunity
The platform given to us to grow and expand is excellent including links in with O2 Telefónica and partner organisations such as Cisco we just would not have otherwise got.
Furthermore, the quality of experts brought in to give opinion and advice is fantastic and fast-paced with advice on Investment, Objectives and Key Results, Marketing and PR, Sales and the list goes on...!
Thanks especially go to Harry & Daniel at Wayra and Steve at Edinburgh Informatics in getting these experts through the door.
Early stages but it has been excellent so far.
Quality & Competition
The other substantial benefit is the effect of being in an ambitious cohort of companies. It galvanises our own ambition but also highlights areas where we need to improve and pushes us to find another level of quality across the board.
We can honestly say we have learned something from the founding members of each company already!
And the sense of friendly competition is also a great motivator. The whole cohort wants the other companies to succeed but equally, we can be driven on to be as good as them and to great benefit.
What Next?
Although just over a month in the benefits have been great already and that will continue as we go more deeply into the Accelerator.
